“ I am editing an earlier review because of the hostess on a recent visit. Every time I come, I request a quiet booth because I have a severe hearing disability. I always get the side eye. This time, she appeared put out at my request. Instead of a quieter booth (there were plenty) she placed us in the big room with horrible acoustics due to a high ceiling. The booth was mere feet from a long table celebrating something. We requested a move from another hostess, and ended up on the other side of the group, not even three feet away. Other booths further away remained empty. Food was good, but I wonder why a simple request can't be honored. Also, please put a coat/purse hook in the first bathroom stall. ”

The menu has some unique dishes like pork snitzel. We all enjoyed our meals. The Karas Group is opening a new restaurant in the old Court house on the Woodstock square. “ I stopped in at one of my favorite restaurants and had an amazing calamari appetizer. I don’t know what it is but this village squire has the best calamari. I had a great drink with an amazing bartender Molly! She was so comforting and attentive to us all at the bar. My favorite place to be. ”

My adult children loved it. 10/2022: Came back again while visiting family. It was still wonderful. The food was great. The waitress was charming and efficient. We live this place. ”
